As lead product designer, I drove end-to-end design and research, leading cross-functional collaboration with design, engineering, and product teams to deliver a scalable solution across four core products. I also partnered with design system engineers to ensure implementation quality and refine the Storybook code library.
As the product scope expanded to support multiple user roles and complex datasets, our legacy table component became too rigid and inflexible.
I researched table-related use cases across all products and summarized their major tasks and main business focus when working.
I designed the component at multiple levels with diverse use cases, ultimately increasing adoption and accelerating efficiency.
Deliver table components to unify over 30 versions of implementations, accelerating over 5 product teams' building efficiency and enhanced Workstream's overall design quality.
I led the design process to deliver from the atomic to the component level, creating a scalable and responsive design pattern. This along with the codebase ensures adaptability across screens and full coverage of all use cases.
The component was being used across four product team already including payroll, mobile and web HRIS, time scheduling and will be more along with the team expanding more table usage for the customers!
I am a main contributor to the design system v2.0 successully designed and shipped over 15 components, 4 patterns and 3 major for Workstream design library.
